Participants in the Global Education Symposium: Globally
Competent Teaching, Learning and Leading explored individual and systemic
methods to enriching teacher and student competencies, knowledge, skills, and
dispositions about international education. A keynote by Ariel Tichnor-Wagner,
Ph.D. of Boston University provided a holistic approach and opportunities for
action. Other presenters shared community and regional resources for
teaching and learning both locally and globally.
