Online application is open, we are currenlty registering.
HOW CAN INCOMING FAMILIES REGISTER THEIR STUDENTS FOR KINDERGARTEN?
WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED?
- Child's Birth certificate
- Parent/guardian photo ID
- Custody/guardianship/divorce documents
- Proof of residency (lease, mortgage, bills), Student records/transcripts, Immunization records, Special Education Records (IEP, 504, ETR, Gifted Plan)
WHAT ELSE DO FAMILIES NEED TO KNOW? WHY SHOULD THEY REGISTER NOW?
Once registered, families will receive district news via email with important information for Kindergarten screening and orientation. The new student/ family information is made available to the building principal, counselors, special teachers, transportation department and others to assist with class assignment and smooth transition.
HOW WILL DISTRICT PROVIDE ELECTRONIC ACCESS TO THOSE PARENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE IT AT HOME?
We provide parents with access to a computer and assistance at the Board of Education, including language translators.
HOW IS THE SCHOOL PRACTICING SAFETY MEASURES FOR FACE-TO-FACE REGISTRATION?
Parents are completing a health/ travel quarantine questionnaire and not currently meeting in person with the Registrar.
