The Educational Stability Network began to support school districts and DCFS in the implementation of the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) particularly around Fostercare changes/legislation. The meeting has evolved to discuss any social emotional and system related needs around HB410 truancy, Mental Health, Homelessness, Fostercare, etc. The meeting allows for cross-sharing, problem-solving, collaboration and networking. The Network Meeting is an opportunity for all systems to work together to address the whole child collaboratively.

 

We will continue to expand partnership and topic discussions as needed. This meeting meets quarterly.
