Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive framework of evidence-based strategies and systems that assist schools in creating environments that are predictable, consistent, positive and safe. Benefits include improving academic performance and safety, decreasing challenging behaviors, and establishing a positive school climate for students and staff. PBIS has relevant applications to educating ALL students.  Check out the PBIS Resources

The application deadline for PBIS state recognition has been extended from June 1, 2020 to the Fall 2020 (date to be determined).

We will keep you updated as to any changes that may occur.
The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) has also put out added a webpage to How to Support Your Child's Health and Well-Being during Ohio's Ordered School Closing which families can used to support their child.
