In this workshop, geared toward secondary educators, participants will:
• learn how to teach character strengths to help students improve social and emotional skills,
attitudes, behavior, and academic performance
• learn how character strengths and leadership will help students succeed now in school and later in their careers
• understand the research behind the importance of social-emotional learning in schools
• receive specific strategies to teach character and leadership to middle, high, and alternative school students
