This session explores Ohio’s Professional Learning Standards and the resources developed by the Ohio Department of Education for using the Standards to develop high quality professional learning that aligns with the ESSA guidelines for professional development: “sustained, intensive, collaborative, job-embedded, data-driven, and classroom-focused.” The session will focus on the usefulness of the Standards and the associated resources as tools to help support the transition of high quality professional learning into the new normal of virtual learning.
