During her time served as Superintendent, she became interested in the study of women in leadership roles. Learning that the nation has approximately 25% of women leaders in Superintendent roles there are definite attitudes, behaviors, and mindsets that contribute to these Statistics. As women gain an awareness of this information, they will learn strategies to change this paradigm and work together to improve the culture and outcomes.
