2020-21 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION INFORMATION

WHEN DOES REGISTRATION OPEN?
Parents can complete pre-registration through the Registration Gateway. Parents will be asked to come in to complete the registration process, by appointment only.
 
HOW CAN INCOMING FAMILIES REGISTER THEIR STUDENTS FOR KINDERGARTEN?
 
WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED?
  • Birth Certificate
  • Custody/Guardianship Papers (if applicable) in original form with court stamp
  • Immunization Records, Parent/Guardian Identification;
  • Driver’s License or Picture ID Proof of Residency: 3 categories (Enrolling Parent) Own- Current Mortgage & Utility Bill Rent- Current Lease & Utility Bill Living with another Resident- (two step process) Enrolling parent - Current mail Owner/ lessee - Current Mortgage statement /Renter lease (lease must have enrolling parents name) & utility Bill (notarized Owner Tenant Affidavit), renters from a Single dwelling must have a permit from their city building departments.

  • Last Report Card/Grades ETR/MFE (if applicable)
  • Transcripts (high school only)
  • 504 Plan (if applicable)
  • Home Schooling Documentation 
     
WHAT ELSE DO FAMILIES NEED TO KNOW?  WHY SHOULD THEY REGISTER NOW?
All parents will have to meeting to finalize the registration by:
  • Phone call to go over contacts information and forms
  • Face to face meeting to supply us with: Residency Affidavit & Owner Tenant Affidavit (if applicable)
  • Complete Record release consent
  • Final Signature

  • To prepare for teachers,class size and supplies
  • We will provide them with a welcome folder and a gift bag.
 
HOW WILL DISTRICT PROVIDE ELECTRONIC ACCESS TO THOSE PARENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE IT AT HOME?
Student Services has a Parent Resource Center onsite at the Board of Education at 475 Northfield Rd. Parents will have to call to set up an appointment to utilize the Computers. 440-439-4363 to arrange an appointment.
 
HOW IS THE SCHOOL PRACTICING SAFETY MEASURES FOR FACE-TO-FACE REGISTRATION? 
We are requesting that parents wear masks at their scheduled face to face meeting. We will also install plexiglass barriers to separate staff and our guests. Only one person per meeting. The district will have hand sanitizer available. Parents may be asked to take their temperature before meeting with the Registrar. Our District will continue to practice social distancing with staff and visitors.
