Richmond Heights Local Schools Kindergarten Class Explores College Life Through Mascots

Kindergarten students at Richmond Heights Local Schools recently participated in an engaging lesson that introduced them to college life by exploring universities and their mascots. The activity, part of the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program, aimed to spark early interest in higher education through a fun, interactive approach.

Mrs. Johnson’s class wrapped up the session with an exciting game of Mascot Bingo, where students matched mascot images with the corresponding schools. The event generated enthusiasm and school spirit, as the young learners showed great excitement in discovering the identities behind different university mascots.
