Congratulations to the Brush High School students who participated in this year's Senior Art Show! Forty-one seniors participated in the exhibit, which held its awards ceremony last week. The art on display was chosen by the students and consists of a wide range of work such as drawings, paintings, prints, photography, sculptures, mosaics, collages, and mixed media.
The work was judged by a panel made up of art educators, artists, alumni, and the director of a local arts organization and awards were given in a variety of categories (see below for a list of winners).
The Senior Art Show will remain on display in the Brush Media Center until May 8. A special Senior Citizen Art Show Open House is planned for Tuesday, April 29, from 9-11 a.m. All South Euclid and Lyndhurst senior citizens are invited to come view the artwork and enjoy light refreshments.
