Cleveland Browns Visit Garfield's Maple Leaf Elementary School for Fun Student Interactions

Cleveland Browns players Anthony Walker Jr. and Charlie Thomas III made a very special visit to Maple Leaf Elementary School recently to promote their dedication to the community, participate in a few games with students, and underscore the organization’s commitment to education. Visiting the newly dedicated Stay in the Game room on the 2nd floor of Maple Leaf, our Cleveland Browns heroes began their discussion with students stressing how important lifelong learning and students’ studies should be in their lives. Both players are college graduates and spoke at length about how their parents and teachers played instrumental roles in promoting the value of school to them. Afterwards, some fun games that got students interacting with Mr. Walker Jr. and Mr. Thomas III were played with a sensory and educational focus. The Cleveland Browns are instrumental community stakeholders to the Garfield Heights City Schools, and we thank them for their visit.
