This interactive half-day workshop is offered with presentations and partner/small group work. The workshop equips teachers with research-based instructional strategies that address the needs of English Language Learners in content or general education classes. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of working effectively with English learners by developing a differentiated lesson or unit plan. This session provides the opportunity to learn ways to plan and deliver lessons that allow English learners to access content standards as they develop their English proficiency. Participants will leave with a completed lesson or unit plan, resources, and ideas to implement immediately.
