Description: |
This 5-day interactive workshop will provide participants with a basic working knowledge of TEACCH methodology and its role in working with students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. Participants will be introduced to structured strategies including physical structure, individualized daily schedules, work systems, and visually structured activities for students with diverse learning needs. These types of structures are well researched and are effective interventions for students with ADHD, cognitive disabilities, and learning disabilities as well as students on the autism spectrum.
