Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, School/District Report Cards will now provide an Overall Star Rating. Each session will start with an explanation of the component calculations and then make connections exploring how to make an actionable plan to improve. The recommended audience for this series is EMIS Coordinators, Superintendents, Principals, Curriculum/Assessment, and building administrators. The series will be offered via Zoom. These sessions are free of charge; registration is required to receive access to the Zoom session.

Early Literacy
• The Early Literacy component measures the percent of students scoring proficient or higher on the third grade reading segment of the English language arts state test and looks at how successful schools are at improving reading for at-risk students in grades K-3.
