This training is designed for participants to review the standards and consider developmentally appropriate practices within a preschool setting. During the training, participants will analyze and provide examples of developmentally appropriate practices in preschool settings, explore learning experiences that integrate preschool children’s learning within and across early learning and developmental domains, and describe ways to differentiate instructional approaches to match each preschool child’s interests, knowledge, and skills. This training is for early care and education professionals who work with preschool-age children. Participants will explore the Early Learning and Development Standards in more detail, with a focus on developmentally appropriate practices in settings that serve preschool-age children. |
