The purpose of these coaching sessions is to help schools implement and sustain Positive Behaviorial Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to establish positive school climates for students and staff, leading to improved academic performance and safety.
The PBIS Coaching Network is designed to provide a forum for district and school PBIS internal facilitators and PBIS coaches to collectively discuss and share best practices while receiving technical assistance and support from SST3 and ESC-NEO consultants.
Learning targets will vary for each session, focusing on the needs of the participants to include topics that will assist participants with gaining a deeper understanding of the systemic framework of PBIS and its overlap with existing district initiatives. Participants will build their internal capacity to support their PBIS teams and school-wide implementation while engaging in a community of practice with other schools and district leaders.
