This training will focus on how job coaches can assist students with disabilities in job training programs to complete workplace readiness training. Attendees will learn how to work with small groups of students at in-school and community-based work sites to assist with work skills, interpersonal skills, self-direction, and other job skills in an effort to help the students reach their goals of obtaining competitive, integrated employment. Topics will include Job Coaches Role Overview, Teaching Methods, Business/Work Culture, and Documentation. |
