The Early Childhood Supervisory Network meetings will include guest presentations from regional partners, resources, and topics of critical interest to programs including Step Up to Quality (SUTQ)/licensing, Science of Reading (SoR) in Early Childhood, interagency agreement (IAA), preschool special education, (PSE) supporting challenging behavior, inclusion supports and various types of classroom foci and curriculums in early childhood.
Outcomes include: - Provide opportunities for early childhood leaders to network with other professionals and community partners.
- Correlate current guidance on SUTQ, Early Learning Assessment (ELA), PSE, and more with current practice and collaborate with colleagues on the use of data to improve systems in early childhood programs.
- Identify methods that early childhood leaders can employ to support early childhood educators including preschool itinerant teachers and related service providers.
Following the formal meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to network from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The InterAgency Agreement Meeting will subsequently take place and conclude at 3:00 PM. These in-person meetings will be scheduled for 3 hours, with materials available in advance.
