Increase your cultural competency and sensitivity in order to support your English learners and immigrant students.  Ensure your school is a safe and inclusive place for your students to flourish and succeed academically.  This session will examine culture, look into surface and deep culture, delve into the culture of your students and explain how culture can affect learning and behavior.  Tips will be shared to build a school culture of diversity where all students feel safe and accepted.
