In an effort to support you in your current or future leadership role, the ESC of NE Ohio is creating a Women’s Leadership Academy - Unlocking and Advancing Your Leadership Potential. This Academy is being offered at no cost to you but promises to bring you a great return on your investment!

The goal of the Women’s Leadership Academy is four-pronged: to develop and enhance leadership skills, to improve communication, to build relationships and to develop and enhance leadership presence.

Central to the goals of improving communication and developing and enhancing leadership presence, we will participate in a book study (I’m Speaking: Every Woman’s Guide to Finding Your Voice and Using it Fearlessly by Jessica Doyle-Mekkes). While participation in the Academy is free, you will need to purchase the book prior to the first session in November. The book is available on Amazon.

In addition to the book study, Academy members will learn strategies associated with operational and instructional leadership, communication, relationship building and leadership presence. You will hear from current and veteran women leaders in an effort to provide you with techniques to navigate the leadership landscape while overcoming obstacles that are unique to women leaders.
