Description: |
Ohio’s Learning Standards include content statements on the causes and consequences of World War I. This session is designed for teachers of Modern World History looking to enhance their teaching of World War I with lessons designed with student engagement in mind. This workshop will dispense with teacher-led lectures and focus on lessons that require students to actively participate in their own learning. The workshop will include lesson plans and assessments for the causes of the war, trench warfare, the Eastern and Western Fronts, the introduction of modern weapons, and the Armenian Genocide. |
