The Spotlight on IT workshop provides high school teachers, educators, and counselors the opportunity to explore Northeast Ohio’s IT talent opportunities for their high school students. The workshop delves into the world of IT and IT-related fields and the critical need for a more diverse IT workforce in Northeast Ohio. Spotlight on IT Workshop participants will: - Explore the opportunity and need for a diverse IT workforce in Northeast Ohio
- Learn about the six functional areas of IT, and in-demand and entry-level IT careers
- Understand how to talent spot students who would be a good fit in an IT career path
- Examine IT Career exploration and work-based learning experiences that are available for your students
