This workshop has been changed to virtual, once you register you will receive additional information regarding the format for virtual. 

This workshop delves into essential techniques and strategies to improve all aspects of WRS group instruction through hands-on practice and discussion.  It is a pre-requisite for the Wilson Reading System Level II Group Mastery Practicum.  
Topics Include:
  • Ensuring and assessing group mastery
  • Maximizing group success while meeting individuals needs
  • Application and integration of skills
  • Concept development vs. fluency
  • Planning and practicing lesson plan Blocks 1, 2, and 3 for groups
  • Direct and targeted fluency instruction
  • Strategies for effective vocabulary and comprehension instruction 
 Participants will be eligible for 1 Graduate Credit available through Fitchburg University upon completion of the workshop at an additional cost.
