This workshop delves into essential techniques and strategies to improve all aspects of WRS group instruction through hands-on practice and discussion. It is a pre-requisite for the Wilson Reading System Level II Group Mastery Practicum. Topics Include: - Ensuring and assessing group mastery
- Maximizing group success while meeting individuals needs
- Application and integration of skills
- Concept development vs. fluency
- Planning and practicing lesson plan Blocks 1, 2, and 3 for groups
- Direct and targeted fluency instruction
- Strategies for effective vocabulary and comprehension instruction
Participants will be eligible for 1 Graduate Credit available through Fitchburg University upon completion of the workshop at an additional cost.
