FREE Prevention Series: QPR & Suicide Prevention Coaching
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. On May 6th, we want to celebrate and promote Child Mental Health Awareness Day through this professional development opportunity. This will be the last Prevention Series training offered by the ESC of NEO, Student Wellness Department. Please join us to learn about Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) & Suicide Prevention Coaching. The training objectives will include:
- Learn about suicide prevention data and needs
- Recognize someone at risk for suicide
- Demonstrate increased knowledge of intervention skills
- Gain knowledge of referral resources and referrals to appropriate services
- Best Practices for school protocols and templates
