November 1 & 2 This interactive two-day workshop is offered in person with presentations, partner/small group work and independent work time.
The workshop equips content and general education teachers with research-based instructional techniques that address the needs of English Language Learners (ELLs or ELs) in content or general education classes. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of working effectively with English learners by developing a differentiated lesson or unit plan. This session provides the opportunity to learn ways to plan and deliver lessons that allow English learners to access content standards as they develop their English proficiency.
Participants will leave with a completed lesson or unit plan, resources and ideas to implement immediately. |
