Attendees will learn the latest on the 2022 report cards as the state moves away from issuing letter grades and towards issuing star ratings. The recommended audience for this series is EMIS Coordinators, Superintendents, Principals, Curriculum/Assessment, and building administrators. The following series will be offered via Zoom; approximately two components will be discussed each session; see schedule below. These sessions are free of charge; registration is required to receive access to the Zoom session.

Early Literacy & Gap Closing
The Early Literacy component measures the percent of students scoring proficient or higher on the third grade reading segment of the English language arts state test and looks at how successful schools are at improving reading for at-risk students in grades K-3. The Gap Closing component shows how well schools are improving or meeting the performance expectations for all students in English language arts, math, graduation and English language proficiency.
