District Policies & Procedures (HQSD)
ESC consultants can collaborate with district assessment/evaluation committees to support the transition to using HQSD to improve instructional practices. Resources available include assessment inventories to audit instruments already in place, a starter template for a possible HQSD approval process, and protocols to ensure classroom assessments meet the criteria for HQSD.
Overview of HQSD
OTES 2.0 embeds student growth/achievement data within the performance rubric, prioritizing the teachers USE of data rather than the SCORE. This slide deck introduces teachers to the intended shift in how educators use available data in OTES 2.0.
