Participants will learn about the Ohio School Counselor Evaluation System. This training explains how to conduct school counselor evaluations according to state law and the State Board framework and includes examples of effective practices. Within this system, the performance of each school counselor is evaluated based on multiple factors derived from the standards, as well as their ability to produce positive student outcomes measured by locally determined metrics.

• 2-week course completed through Canvas with discussion boards and assignments.
• All required coursework must be submitted within the designated 2 week session window to meet requirements to become credentialed OSCES evaluator.
