Session 3: Instructional Delivery: Explicit Instruction After discussing the elements of instructional design that have the greatest impact on student learning, the next focus will be instructional delivery. Anita Archer highlights the key elements of Explicit Instruction. However, do these components fly in the face of constructivist theory and the 8 Mathematical Practices? This session will focus on discussing how the theory of constructivism and Explicit Instruction play off of one another.
