Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) teaches professionals the skills to identify, prevent and de-escalate crises in the workplace. With distinct levels of training, CPI offers solutions for every role and risk level, in every organization.

This session is focused on the specific options available to support the PBIS training requirements in Ohio Administrative Code 3301.

Cost: $70.00 per person ($40 of this cost is for the training manual/modules)

What:
Verbal Intervention training (without disengagement skills) equips staff with de-escalation skills and non-restrictive intervention techniques, giving them the confidence and competence to manage escalating behaviors.

Who:
This program is ideal for facilities and roles with hands-off policies, or for staff that do not experience situations that warrant physical interventions.

Format of Training (4 hours is recommended in total):
  • 2 Hours of asynchronous online modules of pre-work
  • 2 Hour synchronous session via Zoom
