Description:

Collaboration and authentic assessment practices should be an integral component of any

play-based assessment during the evaluation process. In these sessions, participants will be introduced to the key components of play-based assessment and strategies to support collaborative assessment activities. Teams will have

an opportunity to reflect on current evaluation practices and develop a plan to implement or

enhance their play-based assessment process in their programs. There are practice

requirements between sessions that will assist teams in their planning process.

Participants must attend all three sessions.

Audience:

Early Childhood Special Education Directors and Administrators, Preschool Special Education Assessment Team members including teachers, school psychologists and other related services providers.
Preference given to Cuyahoga County
