Best Practices for Supporting English Learners in the General Education Classroom
This full day, in-person workshop equips content and general education teachers with research-based instructional techniques that address the needs of English Language Learners (ELs). Participants will gain a deeper understanding of working effectively with English learners by incorporating several high impact strategies. Participants will learn ways to plan and deliver lessons that allow English learners to access content standards as they develop their English proficiency. Intended audience includes K-12 educators in any content area, EL teachers, administrators, coordinators and coaches. 5 contact hours |
