This presentation will provide guidance on the prevention of inappropriate identification of ELs suspected of having a disability. Guidance will be shared on developing a model for appropriate referral and assessment while assuring ELs are not over or under identified in Special Education Best practices for appropriate assessment and test interpretation will be shared. School psychologists, EL coordinators, Speech-Language Pathologists and Special Education coordinators are encouraged to attend. This session will also be in person and online. |
