The purpose of the coaching sessions is to help schools to implement and sustain Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) in order to establish positive school climates for students and staff, leading to improved academic performance and safety.   The coaching network is designed to provide a forum for district and school leaders to collectively discuss and share best practices while receiving technical assistance and support from SST3.

Learning targets will vary for each session, focusing on the needs of the participants to include topics that will assist participants with gaining a deeper understanding of the systemic framework of PBIS and its overlap with existing district initiatives.   Participants will build their internal capacity to support their PBIS teams and school-wide implementation, while engaging in a community of practice with other school and district leaders.
