During this multi-session series, early childhood PBIS leadership teams will build their Tier II system. During Module I, the team will review the essential components of Tier I, assess their current Tier I framework to determine level of implementation and utilize Tier I data to reflect on program readiness for developing Tier II as a multi-tiered system of support. After attending Module I, teams may determine that they need to shore up Tier I before proceeding to Module II which focuses on building the Tier II system. In Module II, participants define the essential components of Tier II within the PBIS framework, identify roles and functions of Tier II leadership team and develop a process for student identification for Tier II supports. Module III focuses on creating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating interventions through a team-based problem-solving process.

 

Each module has an accompanying work session that may be scheduled for an additional 3 hours of Ohio Approved credit.
