Balanced with Blended Learning - GO SLOW (online book study) - Cancelled
Tuesday, September 14, 2021
This Event Is A Series Of Dates (See Below)
Continues on Tuesdays thru November 22nd
Topic:   Behavior & Climate
Sponsored by:   ESC-NEO
Presenter(s):   Stephanie DeMichele
Description:

In our GO SLOW online book studies, we take the most popular books in education--the books that you’ve been dying to read but have difficulty finding the time--and build in a structured support system so that you can go from learning about pedagogy to successfully applying it.

How It Works:

  1. Read one book over the course of a whole semester, usually one chapter per week.

  2. Attend a weekly virtual cohort coffee chat for collaboration, community, and brainstorming.

  3. Provide a brief weekly reflection or artifact of learning

For this particular GO SLOW Online Book Study, we’ll read Balance With Blended Learning, a book that  provides teachers with even more strategies to actively engage students in setting goals, monitoring development, reflecting on growth, using feedback, assessing work quality, and communicating their progress with parents.
