Missy McClain advocates for children experiencing trauma in their lives in her job at Akron Children’s Hospital. In her role educating teachers, she stresses the value of creating sustainable relationships with students because teachers may be the one constant in a child’s life. This program will detail elements of a developmental relationship framework to help children face challenges and provide support to empower students navigating difficult situations.
