The One Needs Assessment is a comprehensive tool that provides the opportunity for districts and schools to focus on a few items of high impact for continuous improvement. The One Needs Assessment directs districts and schools towards creating a “focused plan” One Plan. All districts and schools that receive federal funding are required to use this planning tool to develop/revise their One Plan for FY23.   

We will be offering two technical assistance and professional learning sessions. 

 

*The One Needs Assessment Overview Sessions will provide a general overview of the enhancements to the One Needs Assessment and One Plan, timelines, and root cause analysis resources.

In the One Needs Assessment Overview Sessions, participants will: 

· Understand the purpose of EdSteps, the One Needs Assessment and the One Plan and expectations/timelines for completion.

· Experience the enhancements to the One Needs Assessment and One Plan platform. 

· Consider data sources and format, team membership, timeline development to complete the One Needs Assessment and develop the One Plan. 

· Understand how to use a root cause analysis process as a necessary component of completing the One Needs Assessment.

 

Audience:  District/Building leaders and Community School leaders, sponsors, and management company personnel interested in learning more about the new One Needs Assessment. *We recommend district and building-level leaders attend this session together.
