OPES 2.0 Supports HQSD Series-Virtual
Monday, May 16, 2022
Topic:   Behavior & Climate
Sponsored by:   ESC-NEO
Presenter(s):   Gretchen Lawn
Description:
HQSD in OPES 2.0
The new OPES 2.0 rubric identifies five standards that lend themselves well to the use of high-quality student data. Within those standards, administrators are expected to make instructional and behavioral decisions using HQSD. This will require them to analyze data above and beyond the basic understanding level. Districts will be responsible for determining which two measures of HQSD administrators will need to use to provide evidence of student learning to support a final evaluation rating.
Who should attend this training?
  • Building or District level Administrators
  • Educators being evaluated or evaluating others using OPES 2.0
  • Value-Added (May 2 or 16) - Participants will learn how to use all of the tools and resources that are available through EVAAS. Administrators will learn how to use trend data and projection data to place students, identify intervention needs, and assist teachers with their diagnostic results.
