CMM Programmer/Inspector We are looking to hire additional team members that are reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn! As a CMM Programmer/Inspector, you will create and modify CMM inspection programs and plans and define parameters to qualify components and/or sub-assemblies. Programs will be used in major industries such as medical, aerospace, military, general industry applications and consumer products. Responsibilities: • Write, develop, validate and debug CMM (Zeiss, Hexagon, Browne & Sharpe) and PC-DMIS and Open DMIS programs and provide supporting QA documentation. • Operate CMMs and create/modify programs as necessary and appropriate. • Document findings and/or create/save reports according to file management processes. • Read drawings with GD&T, profiles, true position, datums, etc. • Define criteria to complete CMM inspection process to qualify the component or sub-assembly. • Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure compliance to drawing specifications and/or customer and company requirements. • Perform 1starticle inspection per customer requirements. Communicate and document findings on any non-conforming product. • Makes suggestions regarding improved methods to inspect parts. • Hard gauge and manually check parts, as necessary and appropriate to assess discrepancies or as required by customer or based on volume of work in inspection. • Ensure inspection records are accurate and complete. • Interact with manufacturing personnel to ensure Quality product is being produced. • Communicates with Quality Manager and/or Quality Engineer regarding measurement processes and/or non-conforming parts. • Completes duties in a timely manner; maintains records and supporting data in a neat and orderly fashion and in accordance with customer and/or company requirements. • Other duties as directed or assigned.
