General Labor
We are looking to hire additional team members that are reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn!
As a General Labor you will work within different areas of the business to provide support in various manufacturing and operation processes with the focus on supporting Shipping & Receiving.
Responsibilities:
• Empty scrap metal bins and trash hoppers
• Back-up for Shipping & Receiving Dept
• Responsible for maintaining the shipping and receiving docks clean and organized.
• Provide support to assembly department with the processing and assembling of customer products.
• As directed, will provide support to the maintenance department by handling basic equipment PM’s (cleaning and coolant changes) along with facility maintenance such as painting, simple plumbing, minor building repairs and snow removal.
• Provide support to machining departments by cutting bar and material stock according to size and specification.
• Be willing to work in different departments and cross train to become a valuable part of the team.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license
• Tow motor and/or box truck experience a plus but will train
• Respectful, team player that works effectively with people
• computer skills
• Pay close attention to detail working to achieve error-free performance.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. (75 lbs. as needed, based on customer/company need)
• Familiar with and practice of all safety standards.
