Rita Kroeger is an Adolescent Literacy Specialist with the Educational Service Center (ESC) of Northeast Ohio. Prior to joining the ESC, Rita was the Regional Literacy and Urban Literacy Specialist for State Support Team 3. Rita’s teaching experience includes 14 years serving preschool through third grade and 3 years as the Instructional Literacy Coach for the Streetsboro City School District. Rita is passionate about literacy and supporting schools in the implementation of evidence-based literacy practices within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework, to ensure all students become proficient readers. She currently holds a pre-k-3 Teaching License and is a Local LETRS, Dyslexia, Science of Reading, and Literacy Improvement Pathway Facilitator. Rita resides in Twinsburg and has three children.
