Brian Callahan is an Educational Consultant with the State Support Team Region 3 at the Educational Service Center (ESC) of Northeast Ohio. In this role, he supports school districts by designing and facilitating professional development and providing technical assistance to school personnel. His primary areas of focus include Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and the Ohio Improvement Process (OIP).


Before joining the ESC, Brian spent seven years as a classroom teacher, working with students in both elementary and secondary settings. In 2018, he transitioned into building administration, serving in Field Local Schools and Streetsboro City Schools. Brian earned his doctoral degree from the American College of Education, where his research explored the impact of formal mentoring programs on principal retention.


Brian lives in Twinsburg with his wife, Katie, and their two children.
