Network & Resources

The ESC of Northeast Ohio provides a variety of opportunities for educators, business leaders, and community leaders to network, share ideas, collaborate and partner together.

Ohio's Behavioral Health Workforce
Recruiting and retaining a qualified Wellness Workforce, particularly for mental health and addiction services providers, is a challenge across the state. Ohio is dedicated to improving the recruitment and retention of mental health and substance use disorder professionals …doctors, nurses, counselors, therapists, preventionists, social workers, direct care workers, and peer supporters, among others. Efforts include increasing career awareness, supporting recruitment, incentivizing retention, and supporting contemporary practices. The state is pursuing partnerships with Ohio’s providers, local community leaders, and Ohio’s K-12 schools, career tech centers, colleges and universities to create more pathways for Ohioans to pursue Wellness Careers.  For more information click on the link below, or for the flyer click HERE
