The Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio (ESCNEO) offers a Resident Educator Program to surrounding districts and charter/community schools to support the beginning teachers they employ. Regular program meetings, ongoing professional development and formal mentor support provide beginning teachers with a support network to enhance the teaching and learning within their classrooms.
Services we offer at our ESC to support districts with their RE Program:
- Leading Mentor Academy Trainings (In-Person and Virtual Options)
- Operating the Resident Educator Program for Districts
- Mentoring Resident Educators
- Providing Professional Learning Sessions for Year 1 & Year 2 Resident Educators
- Facilitating Support Sessions for District Program Coordinators and Mentors
- Completing the CORE Administration Process for Districts
