The changing landscape of the American workplace in recent decades has resulted in a demand for skills such collaboration, critical thinking, perseverance, and communication. Surveyed executives indicate that these types of skills, sometimes called “employability/career-readiness skills” or “social emotional learning” (SEL) skills, are equal to or more important than technical skills and yet are difficult to find in employees.  A major reason for the qualified labor shortage is that fewer students are graduating high school with the skills required for today’s workplace ( Schools must rise to meet the challenge and bridge this gap in order to prepare students to have thriving careers and fulfilling lives.
Dates: October 18th - virtual ,  Nov. 16th - virtual , Dec. 9th - virtual,  Jan. 25th - in person.
