The First Ring Schools Collaborative: Empowering Educators and Students Through Impactful Leadership

At the heart of the First Ring Schools Collaborative's mission is a steadfast commitment to developing strong, collaborative leaders within our member districts. Through two flagship programs - the First Ring Leadership Academy and the First Ring Student Leadership Institute - we are investing in the next generation of educators and students who will shape the future of education.

The First Ring Leadership Academy provides transformative professional development for district leaders, principals, and aspiring administrators across the 16 member districts. This immersive program equips participants with the skills, knowledge, and networks to tackle complex educational challenges and drive meaningful change. By fostering cross-district collaboration and shared best practices, the Leadership Academy elevates leadership capacity at every level.

Complementing the work with administrators, the First Ring Student Leadership Institute empowers high-potential students to find their voice and make a tangible impact in their schools and communities. This student-centered program cultivates essential 21st century skills like communication, problem-solving, and civic engagement. Participants engage in hands-on learning experiences, work on capstone projects, and build relationships with peers across the collaborative.

Through these interconnected leadership initiatives, the First Ring Schools Collaborative is developing a robust pipeline of talent and equipping both educators and students with the tools to transform education. By investing in impactful leadership at all levels, we are creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement that benefits the over 100,000 students we serve.
