Cleveland Metropolitan School Districts' The Garrett Morgan School of Leadership and Innovation (GMLI) celebrated a milestone as its inaugural graduating class of 2024 walked across the stage, celebrating four years of hard work and perseverance.

The Maple Heights City School Board has concluded its search for a new superintendent, selecting Olympia A. Della Flora to lead the district.

Three Brooklyn High School students had the distinct honor of being named Scholastic Art and Writing Award winners for their impressive artwork. 

Kaitlyn Pierce is a 2024 graduate of Cuyahoga Heights High School (CHHS) and the Dental Assisting Program at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC). Pierce plans to take a gap year to consider her future. She wants to keep her options open career-wise, but is interested in further exploring dental assisting and administrative assisting in a dental office. 

Noah, a Cleveland School of Science and Medicine senior, will spend his summer living off the land in Alaska before heading to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a Morehead-Cain Scholarship. He is the first CMSD scholar to receive this prestigious scholarship.

The Berea-Midpark Middle School's Courtyard and Children’s Garden opening was a wonderful celebration of the Garden Club's first full year.
