Brooklyn Kindergarten Classes Attend Playhouse Square Performance

Brooklyn’s Kindergarten students recently visited downtown Cleveland’s historic Playhouse Square to watch a performance of Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! Based on the Caldecott Honor award-winning “Pigeon” books by author Mo Willems, the musical adaptation of the beloved stories featured an unforgettable mix of songs and humor. Students and teachers enjoyed watching the exciting performance while surrounded by the beautiful architectural design of Cleveland’s performing arts landmark. One Kindergarten classroom celebrated their memorable visit by having t-shirts made featuring students’ pigeon drawings! The Playhouse Square visit is one of many examples of how the Brooklyn City Schools provides enriching educational opportunities for students across all grade levels.
