Help Me Grow is a system of supports for pregnant women, caregivers with new babies, and families with young children, and for children with developmental delays and disabilities.

As the Help Me Grow Central Intake & Referral provider, Bright Beginnings and its regional partners connect families throughout Ohio to the services and supports provided through Home Visiting and Early Intervention.

Ohio Early Intervention

Concerned about a child's development? Don't wait. Act Early! Ohio Early Intervention (EI) supports families with children birth to age 3 who have developmental delays or disabilities so that they have the best possible start in life.

If you’re concerned that a child may have a delay or disability, it’s important to refer them for Early Intervention as soon as possible. Early Intervention can address all types of concerns, like crawling or walking, speech delays, or social interaction like playing with other children.

Bright Beginnings is the EI service coordination agency for Cuyahoga County.

Home Visiting

Home Visiting supports pregnant women and new parents with the tools and information they need to nurture the healthy growth of their child through the earliest years.

Whether it’s how to prepare for your delivery, how to soothe a crying newborn, or how to manage sleep (yours included!), your home visitor will listen to your concerns and support you in making the best decisions for you and your baby. Home visitors are well-trained professionals who support families without judgment and empower parents with the skills, tools, and confidence they need to nurture a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Bright Beginnings provides Home Visiting services through the Parents as Teachers model.
